Sobek
Demi-God of Reptiles, Rivers and Marshes.
Symbol: Crocodile Head over three claws.
Sobek is the discarded son of two of the Forgotten Gods. His crocodile-like appearence disgusted his parent Gods so greatly that they cast him into a great river and abandoned him for dead. However, he refused to fade and had the final laugh when he survived and his parents were destroyed.
Sobek has never achieved true acceptance and remains only a Demi-God. His followers live by the 'Eat or be Eaten' philosophy and constantly strive to forge a place for themselves and their God in the world. His followers are always aware of the little power they have and the number of opposing dieties and churches, thus they live cloaked in secrecy and act only in covert and subversive ways. The clerics and law authorities always keep close eyes on Sobeks followers, attempting to catch them in the act or unravel their various plots.
Sobek is a neutral God. He simply does not have the time to pursue larger objectives like Light and Dark and right and wrong and knows that the Gods who do would only use his power for their advancement.

This is great! I've always been interested in mythology, and Sobek is among my favourites. This is an awesome interpretation of the myth; you're good at this!
